I don't know how long these will last, but Amazon has the Cloud b Turtle Constellation nightlight for a fantastic price.  I've seen it fluxuate a bit, but the nightlight, which sells in stores for around $30, has appeared on Amazon.com for as low as $15.00! 
This nightlight is absolutely awesome.  It projects stars all over the ceiling in your child's (or your) room.  To conserve battery life, the projector is on a timer and shuts off automatically, leaving only a small nightlight glowing.  The turtle takes common AA batteries which can be bought at the dollar store.  It does not include an ac adapter, but is extremely cost effective and safe for babies and toddlers, which is important since it doubles as a cuddly stuffed pal!  Grab one while the price is low.
